2026 Tata Tiago EV: What to expect from the updated electric hatch

Tata Motors will unveil the updated 2026 Tiago EV alongside its ICE-powered Tiago facelift on May 28. The electric hatchback receives a redesigned front fascia with sleeker LED headlamps and a closed-off body-color grille, while the rear features connected-style tail-lamps and a roof-mounted spoiler. Aerodynamic 14-inch alloy wheels complete the sportier exterior updates. Inside, the cabin adopts a dual-tone black-and-grey dashboard with floating infotainment and driver display screens for better visibility. New features include a 360-degree camera, rear AC vents, dual wireless chargers, a six-speaker audio system, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen. Safety upgrades likely include standard six airbags across all trims. The outgoing Tiago EV offers 19.2kWh and 24kWh battery options with claimed ranges of 223km and 293km, respectively. The facelift may introduce higher-energy-density batteries or Tata’s newer 6-in-1 integrated electric powertrain to improve efficiency and range. Pricing is expected to remain competitive, with potential expansions to Tata’s Battery-as-a-Service program.
