Pittsburgh’s *Arts Landing*, a $31 million public art and cultural hub, officially opens to the public June 5–7 and 11–14, coinciding with the Three Rivers Arts Festival. The project, part of Pittsburgh’s Cultural District, redefines civic life by integrating public art into everyday spaces, including a one-acre Great Lawn, a pedestrian Garden Walk along 8th Street, and the city’s first downtown playground. Six major artworks have already been unveiled, with one more arriving in July, creating a rotating platform for public engagement. The initiative reflects Pittsburgh’s broader urban revitalization, transforming a former red-light district into a cultural and economic hub. Over one million visitors annually engage with the 14-block Cultural District, which generates $300 million in economic impact. *Arts Landing* builds on this success by offering free, inclusive public spaces designed for relaxation, recreation, and artistic interaction. Key features include a band shell with views of the Three Sisters Bridges, shaded seating, and a multi-use recreation area.
