This includes its ninth consecutive win for World’s Best Business Class, alongside honors for Best Business Class Seat, Best Business Class Lounge in Doha, and Best Airline in The Middle East. The airline’s Qsuite, introduced in 2017, revolutionized premium travel with its privacy-enclosed, lay-flat seats, aisle access, and configurable layouts for couples or groups, setting a new standard for luxury. The Qsuite’s success has sparked a global industry shift, with major airlines like Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines, and United investing billions to upgrade their premium cabins. United alone plans to add 250 enhanced premium-cabin planes in the next two years. Industry experts, including those at the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA), describe this as a 'New Golden Age of Aviation,' driven by airlines competing to match Qatar’s innovations. While Qatar’s Qsuite lacks full suites (with ceilings or bathrooms), its privacy, space, and comfort surpass most First Class offerings worldwide.
