CBSE News Live Updates: CBSE re-evaluation portal still inaccessible as students await post-result services

Students seeking verification and re-evaluation of CBSE Class 12 board examination results faced continued uncertainty on June 1, 2026, as the Board’s post-result portal remained inaccessible. The portal was expected to launch on this date after CBSE postponed its original schedule, citing the need for additional time to strengthen website infrastructure and ensure a smooth application process. The delay follows widespread technical complaints during the answer-sheet access phase, where students reported portal access issues, payment gateway failures, and discrepancies in fee displays. Some students also alleged that scanned copies of evaluated answer books were blurred, incomplete, or did not match their original submissions, raising concerns about the digital evaluation process. To address these issues, CBSE engaged experts from IIT Kanpur and IIT Madras to review and reinforce the technological components of the evaluation system. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan assured corrective measures would be implemented and student grievances addressed, though the re-evaluation portal remained non-functional as of June 1. The Board anticipates high demand for post-result services, with thousands of students expected to apply for verification, photocopies of answer books, and re-evaluation requests. CBSE advised students to use official support channels until the portal becomes operational, emphasizing efforts to maintain evaluation standards and minimize disruptions. The verification and re-evaluation process allows candidates to challenge totaling errors, unchecked responses, and specific answers after reviewing their evaluated answer sheets. With applications yet to begin, many students remain in limbo, awaiting the activation of the online system.
