Children's growth a priority for Xi

According to May data from the National Bureau of Statistics, China’s child population (under 14) stands at 214.36 million, or 15.25% of the total population. Xi has repeatedly described children as 'saplings,' emphasizing their critical role in the nation’s growth. Experts like Liu Jia, an associate professor at Beihang University, note Xi’s consistent use of agricultural metaphors to illustrate the nurturing process of young minds.
