Clear Team Challenging Duke for Preseason No. 1 Ranking

Duke Blue Devils and Florida Gators are the frontrunners for the No. 1 preseason ranking in college basketball ahead of the 2026-27 season. Duke returns four of its top six scorers, while Florida retains nearly its entire frontcourt, including NBA-caliber talent like Haugh, Chinyelu, and Condon. The Gators’ ability to keep their core intact may give them an advantage in preseason rankings, despite Duke’s overall roster strength.
