Coffee chain abcoffee raises ₹61 crore in pre-Series B funding round

India’s coffee chain abcoffee secured ₹61 crore in a pre-Series B funding round led by Kliff Ventures, the consumer retail fund of K Hospitality Corp. Other investors included Hero Enterprise Partner Ventures, Merisis Venture Fund, and Stride Ventures. Founded in 2022 by Abhijeet Anand, abcoffee operates over 90 outlets with a focus on compact, high-efficiency formats. The company reported revenue doubling year-over-year in FY26, with EBITDA growth of 193.2% and a 60% repeat customer rate. The funds will drive expansion in Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, and new high-density markets, while investing in technology, subscriptions, and supply chain improvements. Currently, 54% of takeaway orders are placed through the abcoffee app, with subscriptions accounting for 50% of app orders. The company aims to leverage digital channels for customer engagement and operational excellence. Anand stated the fundraise validates the need for a technology-driven coffee brand in India, emphasizing repeat consumption and scalable growth. Karan Kapur of Kliff Ventures called abcoffee a potential leader in India’s growing coffee category, expressing confidence in its scalable retail model. With the new capital, abcoffee plans to strengthen its cluster-led expansion strategy and deepen market penetration in key urban centers. The company’s focus on digital-first operations and high-frequency customer loyalty positions it for rapid scaling in India’s competitive coffee market.
