Credit union awards $10,000 in local scholarships

Town & Country Credit Union has awarded $10,000 in scholarships to 10 local high school students. The recipients were chosen from a pool of credit union members who submitted essays on how they plan to make a positive impact in their chosen careers. The scholarship program is in its fifth year, with each recipient receiving $1,000. The students will attend various universities and colleges in North Dakota and other states, pursuing fields such as education, neuroscience, and aviation. The credit union's employees reviewed the submissions to ensure a fair selection process. The awarded students are from various high schools in the region, including Minot North High School and West Fargo High School.
