Deep-tech startup Anscer Robotics secures ₹45 crore in Series A round

Bengaluru-based Anscer Robotics has secured ₹45 crore in a Series A funding round led by IAN Group, with participation from Info Edge and angel investors. The company, established in 2020, designs robots for real-world manufacturing and warehouse settings, capable of operating alongside humans, forklifts, and production lines. It can produce over 1,000 robots annually and already has a sales and support presence in the US, Europe, and Asia-Pacific regions. The funding will support Anscer’s expansion into the US market, product innovation, and strategic partnerships to deploy robots in factories and warehouses globally. The company previously raised $2 million in a seed round led by Info Edge Ventures in 2025. Anscer’s robots are designed to integrate with AI-native industrial environments, enabling contextual understanding and adaptive learning. Ribin Mathew, founder and CEO of Anscer, stated that the next phase of automation will rely on machines that understand context and work alongside enterprise intelligence. The company’s platform, developed in India, adheres to global standards. IAN Group’s Alpha Fund, a $100 million Category-II Alternate Investment Fund, focuses on deep-tech sectors including health-tech, clean-tech, and manufacturing. Rajnish Kapur, managing partner of IAN Alpha Fund, emphasized that industrial automation is now critical for resilience, intelligence, and competitive advantage beyond efficiency. The investment underscores Anscer’s potential to reshape global manufacturing with AI-driven robotic solutions.
