Florida is also a key focus, with Space Launch Complex-37 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station under construction to accommodate Starship launches, including NASA’s Artemis program. The vision includes multiple launch pads in Florida to enable backup systems and simultaneous flights, reflecting Musk’s goal of transforming spaceports into facilities resembling airports. Starship, the most powerful rocket developed to date, can carry over 100 metric tons to orbit, playing a critical role in SpaceX’s plans for satellite constellations, lunar missions, and Mars exploration. Its fully reusable design is intended to minimize refurbishment time, though operational challenges like inspections, refueling, and safety checks remain.
