HoneyNaps Selected for Korea's 2026 Global ICT Unicorn Program

HoneyNaps, a South Korea-based digital health company, has been selected for Korea’s 2026 Global ICT Unicorn Program, marking its first SleepTech company inclusion. The company’s FDA-cleared AI sleep diagnostic solution, SOMNUM, will drive its global expansion, supported by its integrated AI sleep healthcare ecosystem, including SOMNUM Pro (hospital-focused software), SOMNUM Cloud (web-based analytics), and SOMNUM Clinical Service (pharmaceutical research support). The selection aligns with HoneyNaps’ recent entry into the 2026 Korea BioHealth Value-up Innovation Program (K-VIP), organized by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI). Through this program, the company established a U.S. presence at the Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC) in Kendall Square, Boston, to deepen collaborations with leading U.S. hospitals, sleep centers, and global pharmaceutical firms. HoneyNaps plans to expand clinical partnerships while advancing its Korean sleep foundation model (SleepFM), leveraging multimodal polysomnography (PSG) data. This model aims to extend AI applications beyond sleep disorders into cardiovascular and neurological disease analysis, enhancing clinical decision support.
