Insilico Medicine and Human Longevity Announce Collaboration to Co-Develop Industry-First AI Foundation Model for Longevity Science

Insilico Medicine, a clinical-stage AI-driven biotechnology company based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Human Life Foundation Models (HLFM), a subsidiary of Human Longevity, Inc., have launched a multi-million-dollar partnership to create the world’s first large-scale AI foundation model dedicated to longevity science. The collaboration follows the growing economic significance of longevity, with the global market valued at $5.3 trillion and projected to reach $8 trillion by 2030, driven by AI advancements in drug discovery and aging research. Insilico will contribute its expertise in multimodal foundation models and deep learning, utilizing its MMAI Gym framework to develop model architecture, benchmarking, and training algorithms. HLFM will integrate these tools with Human Longevity’s extensive de-identified multi-omic and clinical datasets, which include over a decade of research spanning genomics, imaging, and longitudinal health records from thousands of individuals. The combined system aims to enable early disease detection, predictive health risk modeling, and personalized interventions to extend healthy lifespan. The partnership seeks to transform healthcare by shifting from reactive disease treatment to proactive longevity science.
