Kipper, the wallaby who romped around downtown Dayton, has died

Kipper, a wallaby that gained internet fame after escaping in downtown Dayton, Ohio, has died. He was 4 years old and belonged to Carolyn Reno, chair of Sinclair Community College's veterinary technology program. Kipper escaped on April 10 while being transported to class, leading to a large search effort. He was eventually retrieved, but died on April 14. The cause of death is still unknown. Kipper was used in Reno's classes to teach students about interacting with wild animals and was known for being docile and enjoying attention.
