Mahsuri Food Sdn. Bhd. officially launched its new state-of-the-art production facility in Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, on May 22, 2026. The 45,000-square-meter plant, attended by dignitaries including Negeri Sembilan’s Menteri Besar YAB Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Aminuddin bin Harun and Lee Kum Kee’s APAC President Vincent Wong, aims to enhance production efficiency and support regional and global halal market expansion. The facility features fully automated production lines and advanced processing capabilities, ensuring consistent quality for Mahsuri’s soy and oyster sauces. A key innovation is the Rotary Koji Making Machine, which improves precision in soy sauce fermentation by controlling temperature, humidity, and ventilation, thereby boosting production consistency and operational efficiency. The factory has secured halal certifications from Malaysia’s JAKIM and Indonesia’s BPJPH, reinforcing its commitment to strict halal compliance and food safety standards. Mahsuri’s Non-Executive Director Dato’ Mohd Roslan bin Mahyuddin emphasized that the facility will maintain the brand’s reputation for high-quality, trusted halal products. Beyond production, the facility will create local employment opportunities in quality assurance, research and development, and technical operations. Negeri Sembilan’s Menteri Besar highlighted the factory’s role in positioning the state as a key hub within the global halal supply chain. The expansion aligns with Mahsuri’s long-term strategy to strengthen export capabilities while upholding rigorous quality controls from raw material selection to final packaging.
