Forbes has unveiled its 11th annual 30 Under 30 Asia list, showcasing 300 young leaders under 30 driving innovation across Asia. The 2026 edition features entrepreneurs, scientists, and artists pushing boundaries in robotics, AI, and emerging industries. In China, JoyIn Technology, founded in 2024 by Guo Renjie, is expanding its companion robot lineup, including the 50cm-tall Zeroth M1, which detects loneliness and reads to children. The startup has secured nearly 20,000 pre-orders for the M1 and a $351 million valuation after raising over $70 million. India’s Swish, co-founded by Aniket Shah, Ujjwal Sukheja, and Saran S., delivers fresh food in 10 minutes via an app. The startup, initially self-funded, raised $54 million in Series B funding, including $38 million from Bain Capital Ventures, valuing it at $139 million. AI-driven automation is prominent, with Melbourne’s Fluency automating repetitive tasks and Tokyo’s Akari improving construction efficiency through cloud-based AI tools. Japan’s Akari, valued at ¥100 billion ($31 million raised in January), focuses on reducing labor input in construction. The list also includes AI-enhanced gaming tech, such as Action&Link’s USB dongle controller and Confidein’s AI-powered prayer ring. Scientific research dominates, with 19 listees working on AI model training and reducing hallucination risks. Categories span entrepreneurship, venture capital, and social impact, reflecting Asia’s diverse innovation ecosystem.
