Netherlands ambassador calls on agriculture minister

Bangladesh's Agriculture, Fisheries and Livestock Minister Mohammad Aminur Rashid met with Joris van Bommel, the Netherlands Ambassador to Bangladesh, in Dhaka. They discussed agriculture, livestock, fisheries, and climate adaptation, focusing on bilateral cooperation. The Netherlands is interested in collaborating in areas such as improved seeds, cold chains, horticulture, and aquaculture. The ambassador also expressed interest in assisting Bangladesh with greenhouse technology and quality control facilities. Bangladesh and the Netherlands plan to cooperate in the agricultural sector, leveraging their shared experience in farming.
