NISM and Galgotias University Team Up to Boost Campus Fintech and Securities Market Prep

The National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) has formed a strategic partnership with Galgotias University to expand professional training in securities markets, fintech, and risk management. The collaboration will integrate NISM certifications, specialized learning modules, and simulated trading frameworks into the university’s academic programs, targeting students in commerce, management, computer science, and artificial intelligence. The initiative leverages Galgotias University’s existing infrastructure, including its School of Business and Centre for Capital Market Simulation, which features an NSE SMART Lab developed with the National Stock Exchange (NSE) Academy. This lab provides students with a risk-free environment to test trading concepts using real-time market data. The new framework will benefit students across multiple disciplines, particularly engineering and tech students pursuing startup ventures. Early exposure to compliance norms, corporate structures, and fundraising pathways is expected to strengthen their business acumen alongside technical skills. Under the partnership, NISM will provide study materials, e-learning resources, and certification modules directly to the campus. The institute will also support faculty development through specialized programs, expert-led seminars, and assessment systems featuring senior capital market professionals.
