Northeast students network with area business professionals

Northeast Community College students met with local business professionals at the college's annual spring business networking luncheon. Around 80 students from various programs interacted with 40 professionals, discussing career paths and building connections. The event aimed to help students develop meaningful mentoring relationships and gain insights into the local business climate. Students were instructed on proper networking techniques, professional dress attire, and communication skills. Business professionals, including representatives from American Family Insurance, attended the event and praised the students' professionalism. The college's business instructors stress the importance of such events for students' future careers.
