OMRON Robotics to Demonstrate Next-Generation Autonomous Mobile Robots at Automate 2026

OMRON Robotics will unveil its latest LD Series autonomous mobile robots, the LD-150 and LD-300, at Automate 2026, a trade show scheduled for June 22–25 at McCormick Place in Chicago. The robots, designed for material transport, will be displayed at Booth #3080 and are expected to begin shipping in Q4 2026. The LD-150 supports a 150 kg payload in a 500 mm-wide footprint, while the LD-300 handles up to 300 kg in a 580 mm-wide footprint, both featuring compact designs for tight spaces. These AMRs adapt to changing layouts, labor constraints, and high-throughput demands, reducing manual transport and improving efficiency without requiring major infrastructure changes. They incorporate wireless inductive charging in 30 minutes or less, speeds up to 2.1 m/s, and navigation capable of handling 5-degree grade ramps. Safety features include 360-degree scanner coverage and compliance with ISO 3691-4:2023, ensuring safe deployment alongside existing robot fleets. The new models integrate with OMRON FLOW Core software, simplifying mixed-fleet management and scalability. At Automate 2026, OMRON will also demonstrate end-to-end automation solutions, including partnerships with ROEQ and NORD Modules to showcase material transport, machine control, vision systems, and data-driven optimization. The Sysmac platform will highlight connectivity across robotics, safety, and production data, while the VHV5 Vision System and MTC will display advanced inspection and quality control capabilities. Additionally, OMRON will present the DX100 and video-based displays for predictive maintenance, operational optimization, and AI-supported decision-making.
