People’s Party to launch shadow cabinet, name candidates by July

The People's Party will launch a shadow cabinet to monitor the government's work and offer policy recommendations. The party aims to finalize its election candidates by July to begin working in constituencies and present policies to voters. Party leader Natthaphong Ruengpanyawut outlined four major goals for the year, including driving work through nine parliamentary committees. The party will also contest local elections more seriously, with a focus on building a strong alternative for voters. Natthaphong said the party had set up a team to work on its area-based strategy and expected its Bangkok team to become a strong alternative for voters by early July. The party will intensify ideological work and strengthen its presence in communities to create real change and build a better society.
