'Politics of Hate Will Not Succeed in Punjab': AAP’s Sanjay Singh Targets BJP

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh accused the BJP of using bomb blasts in Punjab’s Jalandhar and Amritsar as part of an electoral strategy ahead of state elections. Singh claimed the incidents align with BJP’s 'Mission Punjab,' a plan to destabilize the region through violence and hatred, following its losses in West Bengal. He alleged that the BJP maintains covert ties with the ISI (Pakistan Intelligence Services) to engineer attacks, citing unresolved questions around past incidents like the 2017 Maur blast and the Pathankot terror attack. Singh questioned how 350 kg of RDX entered India during the Pulwama attack and why security was withdrawn from Pahalgam before a terror strike, despite the BJP controlling governance in Jammu and Kashmir. Addressing a press conference, Singh accused the BJP of inviting the ISI to investigate the Pathankot attack, where Indian soldiers were killed. He warned that Punjab would not tolerate such tactics, vowing to expose the BJP’s alleged collusion with the ISI and mobilize public resistance. The AAP leader insisted the country still awaits answers on past terror attacks and security failures. Singh linked the recent blasts to the BJP’s broader pattern of creating unrest, including riots and violence, to manipulate elections. He urged Punjabis to reject divisive politics, promising legal action to forfeit BJP’s election deposits if they attempt similar strategies. The AAP leader emphasized that the party would expose the ISI’s role in terror attacks across India.
