Recruiting Update for Tennessee's 2027 Class to Begin May

Tennessee's 2027 recruiting class did not see any commitments in April, but the Vols gained two recruits in late May: Kesean Bowman, a 6-foot receiver, and Jaden Butler, a versatile defensive back. With summer approaching, high school recruiting is expected to heat up. Tennessee is currently eyeing top targets, including Kadin Fife, a four-star DL from Georgia who has been committed since November but is being pursued by other schools like Georgia Bulldogs and Auburn. Miles Brown, a top in-state DB target, has Tennessee on his list along with other SEC schools and is scheduled to visit the Vols on June 5th. Nash Johnson, a DB from Georgia, decommitted from Alabama and is being pursued by Tennessee, Auburn, and Miami, with an official visit to Tennessee set for June 12th. Eric McFarland, an IMG Academy receiver, is also being watched closely by the Vols.
