Samsung may change the camera array in the Galaxy S27

Samsung is reportedly planning to redesign the camera array in the Galaxy S27 to make room for built-in magnetic wireless charging. According to a report on Naver, sources in Samsung's supply chain indicate that the company wants to implement full support for the Qi2.2 standard, an advanced version of the magnetic wireless charging standard. Currently, the camera array occupies the space needed for the magnets, preventing Samsung from offering this capability within the device body. The change would allow users to attach chargers, wallets, and other accessories directly to the device without an external case. However, the production costs of such a redesign may be too high, and Samsung is weighing the added value against the investment. If implemented, the Galaxy S27 may be the device that breaks the design stagnation of the flagship series.
