Taiwan Travel Fair 2026 brought the best of Taiwan closer to Filipino travelers

The Taiwan Tourism Administration (TTA) organized the Taiwan Travel Fair 2026 at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City from June 12 to 14, 2026. Under the ‘Taiwan — Waves of Wonder’ campaign, the three-day fair highlighted Taiwan’s diverse travel experiences, including cultural attractions, culinary delights, and natural wonders, targeting Filipino travelers. The opening ceremony was led by Cindy Chen, director of the Taiwan Tourism Information Center in Manila and Bangkok, alongside Minister Dustin Yang, deputy representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in the Philippines. Yang emphasized the growing tourism cooperation and people-to-people connections between the two nations. The event began with cultural performances, including a Diabolo Walker act and a Zumba presentation, showcasing Taiwan’s vibrant traditions. A special recognition ceremony also honored tourism and event partners for their contributions to promoting Taiwan as a preferred destination. Visitors explored interactive exhibits, tourism information booths, and exclusive travel promotions from airlines and travel agencies. The fair aimed to strengthen partnerships between Taiwanese tourism stakeholders and Philippine travel professionals, fostering future collaboration and increased visitor arrivals. The event served as a key platform for enhancing tourism ties, with expectations of long-term growth in bilateral tourism exchanges.
