VinDynamics and Skild AI form strategic partnership to advance humanoid ROBOTICS

VinDynamics, a robotics technology company under Vietnam’s Vingroup, and Skild AI, a developer of foundation models for robotics, announced a strategic partnership on June 8, 2026. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) focuses on advancing humanoid robotics through embodied AI research, robot manipulation, and real-world system validation. The collaboration will integrate Skild AI’s omnibodied AI software, The Skild Brain, into VinDynamics’ humanoid robots to improve adaptability and efficiency in dynamic environments. Both companies will explore joint development in software, hardware, and large-scale manufacturing of humanoid robots. VinDynamics brings robotics engineering and manufacturing expertise, while Skild AI contributes foundation model technology. Their combined efforts aim to accelerate deployment in industries like manufacturing, logistics, hospitality, and commercial services. Prof. La Manh Hung, President of VinDynamics, stated the partnership advances scalable humanoid robotics platforms for real-world use. Skild AI’s CEO, Deepak Pathak, emphasized combining physical systems with adaptable AI for practical applications. VinDynamics, established in September 2025, focuses on human-centric robots with global scalability. Skild AI, founded in 2023 and backed by investors like SoftBank and Jeff Bezos, operates globally with offices in Pittsburgh, San Francisco, and Bengaluru.
