Zack Polanski in Glasgow ahead of Holyrood election push

Zack Polanski, leader of the Green Party of England and Wales, is visiting Glasgow to support the Scottish Greens ahead of the Holyrood election. He was elected GPEW leader in September 2025 with over 80% of the vote and has since positioned the party as a more outspoken voice on inequality, housing, and public services. Polanski's visit includes a live podcast event with broadcaster Sean McDonald, comedian Amanda Dwyer, and Scottish Greens' Glasgow Southside candidate Holly Bruce. The event aims to build visibility and momentum for the Scottish Greens. Polanski will also give a press conference on Friday morning in Glasgow, joined by Scottish party leaders. The Scottish Greens are seeking to maintain their position in Scotland's pro-independence and left-wing movement.
